Occupational Health

The health of employees is critical to Enerflex’s success.  It is for this reason that our Occupational Health Services program deals with work related injuries and illnesses, as well as addressing non-work related medical conditions.

  • In order to ensure that new hires are capable of meeting the physical demands of their position we conduct pre-hire health assessments.
  • Workplace surveys are conducted to identify and manage noise, chemical and air quality hazards that may exist.
  • Our Injury Management Program ensures that employees who are injured or become ill receive the care, dignity and respect that they deserve, while our Modified Work Routine allows employees to return to work as quickly as possible and in a capacity that will take into account the health of the employee.
  • Due to the risks of international travel, Enerflex conducts pre-travel health assessments for any employee going overseas. 
  • As a company with work sites around the world, it is important that we maintain a contract with International SOS.  International SOS ensures that our employees are protected with international medical evacuation and receive access to world-class emergency healthcare.
  • Employees have access to an Employee and Family Assistance Program.  The confidential personal counseling service is provided to employees and their dependants for a broad range of personal and family problems.
  • Health and wellness is promoted through a variety of activities, including regular communications and information sessions.  It is our hope that employees adopt a healthy lifestyle both at work and at home.
