Role and Responsibilities
Job Purpose: Provide instrumentation Plant & Field support based at customers SAGD Facility I/E Maintenance Department.
Shift: Various Shift and Camp Options Available.
Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Day-to-day maintenance work as per Maintenance Planner & Operations requirements.
•Troubleshoot instrumentation problems.
•Test and calibrate end devices.
•Diagnose and repair control valves.
•Perform maintenance on various types of process analyzers
•Work along side DCS to solve control issues.
•Calibrate fire and gas detection equipment.
•Weekend and evening coverage of call outs when in camp (on shift).
Candidate Profile
•Instrumentation Journeyman certificate preferred will, consider 3rd or 4th year Apprentice level with a strong maintenance background.
•Previous Industrial / Oilfield maintenance an asset, Ability to read and interpret P&ID’s.
•Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•Attention to detail including administrative processes (ie service orders, work tickets, etc.).
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
•Valid drivers’ license and a willingness to travel.
