Role and Responsibilities
Job Purpose: The Technician will be responsible to provide service assistance for the CSX Ignition Controls and Accessories group in a number of different areas. Responsibilities include inside service support, field service and technical assistance to the sales group. This is a field and shop position with daily interface with “end user” customers, OEM’s, Enerflex employees, and associated internal business units. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.
•Provide support and assistance for the installation, support and maintenance of new and existing engine control and ignition systems
•Perform on-site software and hardware installations
•Perform on-site programming functions as required
•Provide technical assistance, bench repairs, programming, and the manufacturing of ignition harnesses and related components
Candidate Profile
•Three (3) years experience in a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic role, or a complimenting trade that has provided significant exposure and the opportunity to understand the complexity of ignition and control systems
•Knowledgeable in the natural gas compression process
•Solid interpersonal, exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
•Proficiency and confidence working with Microsoft applications
