Job Purpose:  Responsible to maintain and operate a field service truck to handle day-to-day field and shop maintenance services and perform overhaul of natural gas engines and compressors within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on the screw compressor market.

Role and Responsibility

•Provide mechanic services in both field and shop areas with a focus on screw compression
•Work independently with customers
•Supervise as required
•Comply with all company Quality, and Health and Safety work procedures
•Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers
•Participate with after hour calls

Candidate Profile

•Must have a valid Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright certificate
•Proven ability to lead, direct, motivate and supervise team members
•Possess well rounded knowledge of engine and compressor performance and operations, screw compressor experience preferred
•Min. 5 years field service work experience
•Experience with Waukesha, Cat and Ariel, Mycom and Frick compressors considered an asset
•Highly motivated and well organized
•Ability to work closely with all departments
•Flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Dependable and reliable
