Job Purpose: Perform day-to-day shop service duties as they may relate to repair or overhaul of natural gas engines, compressors and components.

Role and Responsibility

•Complete all aspects of work including gas engine/compressor overhaul and problem diagnosis with min. supervision. Perform repairs on all types of industrial equipment as required.
•Ensure all necessary Mechanical Service reports and time sheets are completed in compliance with Mechanical Service quality program and detailed procedures.
•Comply with all company Quality, and Health and Safety work procedures. Take an active role in ensuring work place safety and maintain superior standard for quality of workmanship.
•Communicate job related problems and customer concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
•Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers.
•Provide appropriate direction and training to assigned subordinates.
•Assist in field service as required.

Candidate Profile

•Must hold a valid Journeyman Heavy Duty/Auto Mechanic or Millwright certificate for a min. of 2 years
•Min. 2 years experience in engine and component repair in oil and gas, automotive or construction industry or Agriculture
•Waukesha Certified or Certified in two OEM courses considered an asset, but not required
•Basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office Applications an asset
•Good driving record and clean drivers abstract
•Self motivated and well organized, able to work independently
•Ability to lead, direct, motivate, and supervise
•Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to relate well with customers and co-workers
•Able to work collaboratively with all departments within the branch
•Flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs
•Successful completion of a pre-employment medical is required for this job position. At minimum, bona fide occupational requirements for the job position must be met.
