Job Purpose: Reporting to the General Manager of Central Services, for providing strong leadership and direction with inventory management and supplier relationships

Role and Responsibility

•Manage the overall company inventory levels of PJS and CSX.
•Ensure that pricing matrix’s are kept up to date and in line with market fundamentals.
•Conduct and manage the twice annual inventory accounts and provide full reporting of results.
•Negotiate supplier agreements, product, pricing and rebate programs.
•Supervise and provide direction to your management and administrative support staff.
•Provide direction and support to the PJS Parts Managers and their parts staff.
•Work closely with the PJS senior management group.
•Build, develop and maintain a strong business relationship with all PJS suppliers, but with particular focus on Waukesha, Ariel, Champion, Impco and Gerhardt.
•Work with and participate on initiatives with other EFX business units.

Candidate Profile

•Journeyman Parts Certificate or comparable credentials
•Knowledge of inventory control systems. Experience in the natural gas industry from a branch operation level and within an SSAERP LN system is strongly preferred.
•A minimum of three to five years supervisory experience and proven leadership abilities with strong business acumen in order to contribute with building a healthy team environment, both internally and externally to PJS.
•Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Extremely strong time management, organizational and planning skills, while able to handle multiple conflicting priorities.
•Self motivated with sound problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
•Proficient with MS applications, Word and Excel.
