Job Purpose:  Reporting to the European IT Manager, the primary role of this position will be to participate on projects related to the support, upgrading and implementation of ERP application package modules and to work with the business managers to investigate and identify opportunities for business process and systems improvements.

Role and Responsibility

• Work with business units and integrated project teams to identify and pursue potential business process and productivity improvements and investigate and identify alternative solutions
• Co-operate with Business System Analysts and System Analysts of our corporate office 
• Provide input to management on problems that require changes to specific modules
• Ensure that any user problems are prioritized and addressed in a timely fashion on a day to day basis
• Assist end users to identify and perform testing procedures for various solutions and enhancements
• Assist with training respective business unit Subject Matter Experts
• Capture and track issues using the EFX issue tracking procedures
• Follow up to ensure that problems have been resolved and ensure documentation is complete
• Assist with maintenance of subject area design and training documents

• Ensure that any user problems are prioritized and addressed in a timely fashion on a day to day basis.
• Take a proactive role in problem solving towards user requirements and support issues.
• Position requires the successful handling of a large number of tasks with rapidly shifting priorities.
• A professional attitude and an ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and objectivity is required.

Candidate Profile

• Strong level of understanding of the business processes relating to ERP specific modules
• Expertise in specific functional areas of ERP Systems (Finance, Distribution, Service, Manufacturing)
• Strong analytical, communication and process skills
• University degree or technical diploma combined with at least 3 years of relevant post graduate work
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or the oil and gas field service industry would be an asset
• Strong level of communication in Dutch and English both verbally and in writing
• Experience with Infor products Baan V, Infor ERP Ln would be an asset
