Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose: The Apprentice parts person will provide support to Pamco Jiro Services Slave Lake branch in the following areas and will encompass the following responsibilities.
Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Inspect, verify, receive and document incoming goods
• Responsible for ensuring the shipping/receiving of all parts for both internal and external customers, are completed in a timely and cost effective manner
• Accurate and timely data processing on computer system
• Delivers/stores and assists with parts as required
• Forklift operation to load/unload components or shipments
• Prepares and documents products and parts for shipping
• Maintain a neat and organized parts and yard area
• Comply to Health and Safety regulations
• Participate in the on call schedule as required
Candidate Profile
• Forklift training and strong operation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work closely with all departments within the branch
• Must be motivated, well organized and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Shipping and/or receiving experience preferred
• Experience in computers would be an asset
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical is required for this job position. At minimum, bona fide occupational requirements for the job position must be met.
