Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose: Reporting to Eastern Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is primarily responsible to manage the day-to-day operations of the Branch.
Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage the day-to-day operations in the Branch.
• Co-ordinate field projects, manpower, vehicles and equipment.
• Co-ordinate new hires, manpower allocation and crew transfers.
• Supervise electricians and instrument technicians within the area.
• Review and process all paperwork (work tickets, purchase orders, etc).
• Handle customer calls and respond to inquiries for the area.
• Follow up on all tenders issued and inquiries received.
• Co-ordinate safety program on behalf of the Branch.
• Co-ordinate with Regional Manager and manage expansion within Region.
• Assist with budgetary process and review monthly financial statements for the Branch.
• Assist Regional Manager with marketing and business development for the area.
• Communicate corporate decisions and policies to all personnel.
• Support other Branches within Region.
Candidate Profile
• Five (5) years experience in the oil and gas industry, knowledge of the electrical and instrumentation field, trade certificate would be an asset.
• Previous management experience would be an asset.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills.
• Self motivated and able to lead a team in a changing environment.
• Computer literate.
