Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose: The Parts person will provide support to Central Services in the following areas and will encompass the following responsibilities
Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide parts support to internal shop customers, (all areas)
• Source all parts requirements for internal shop customers in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and cost efficiencies
• Assist Parts Person with sourcing all parts requirements for all over sea’s customers (GDS, Landre Ruhaak,)
• Provide parts support to branch network
• Practice strong inventory control procedures
• Assist Shipper / Receiver with receiving inbound freight from major suppliers
• Assist warehouse staff with incoming stock order procedures
• Assist warehouse staff with picking branch stock orders when required
• Assist with daily branch replenishments
• Assist with Branch excess returns & assist Parts person with internal parts returns
• Operate Lift Truck and pallet jacks and overhead crane
• On call Rotation
Candidate Profile
• Clear understanding and working knowledge of LN, Excel and Microsoft Word Programs
• Previous Warehousing, Shipping / Receiving work experience considered a definite asset
• Current Class 5 drivers License
• Working knowledge of Lift Truck
• Must be capable of heavy lifting and available for potential overtime.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical is required for this job position. At minimum, bona fide occupational requirements for the job position must be met.
