Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose:  The Project Designers are responsible for developing detailed engineering drawings for modular natural gas compressor packages. As a member of a Custom Project Team in a fast paced, time sensitive manufacturing environment, the ideal candidate will work in a support role with a Lead Project Designer learning all aspects of designing compressor packages.
• P&ID markup backdrafting, minor modifications to fabrication drawings,
• Using Autocad 2008 and Cadworx 2008 Plant 3D design software,
• Generating Piping Isometric drawings,
• Generating P&ID flow diagrams from standard templates,
• Producing detailed design drawings of structural skids, auxiliary drawings and materials lists for the engineering and production functions.

Canadidate Profile

• Diploma from accredited Post-Secondary Institute (SAIT, NAIT, etc) EDDT program.
• Experience with AutoCAD Release 2006 or greater,
• Familiarity with CadWorx Plant piping design software;
• Excellent time management, organization and communication skills;
• Demonstrated focus on quality, accuracy and thoroughness;
• A results oriented attitude with solid analytical, critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities.
• Flexibility in work hours to accommodate the project schedules.
