Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Responsible to maintain and operate a field service truck to handle day-to-day field and shop maintenance services and perform overhaul of natural gas engines and compressors within the oil and gas industry
• Provide mechanic services in both field and shop areas within the natural gas compression market
• Work independently with customers
• Supervise as required
• Comply with all company Quality, and Health and Safety work procedures
• Maintain and develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers
• Participate with after hour calls
Candidate Profile
• Must have a valid Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright certificate
• Proven ability to lead, direct, motivate and supervise team members
• Possess well rounded knowledge of engine and compressor performance and operations
• Experience with Waukesha, Cat and Ariel, Mycom and Frick compressors considered an asset
• Highly motivated and well organized
• Ability to work closely with all departments
• Flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dependable and reliable
