Role and Responsibities
Job Purpose: Supervise the estimating department and provide estimates for quotations.
•Supervise the estimating department which includes hiring, performance evaluation and time tracking. Interpret quotation drawings, specifications and documents to determine customer requirements.
•Review Estimator revisions/clarifications for accuracy, consistency, code compliance, and industry standard compliance.
•Communicate with project managers to verify scope of work and resolve conflicting information/specs.
•Prepare estimates when required.
•Keep current with market trends, material and subcontract pricing.
•Review completed projects to identify internal trends and hours deviations.
Candidate Profile
•Supervisory experience.
•5 to 10 years experience in the manufacturing industry.
•Good knowledge of ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3 and NDE.
•Solid knowledge/experience with gas processing equipment (piping, vessels, structural).
•Strong project coordination skills and time management.
•Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
•Visual thinker, comfortable working with assumption and incomplete information.
