Mechanical Drivers

In certain circumstances, electric motor drive pump systems can be too costly, or the service is too critical to depend on utility grid power.

Natural gas engines can drive any type of pump, such as centrifugal, sludge and triplex, using a variety of waste fuels.

The benefits of these packages are:

  • Reduced emissions;
  • More energy efficient;
  • Significant cost savings;
  • Ability to use alternate fuels (i.e. waste fuels, agricultural waste);
  • More flexibility (grid independence);
  • Security of supply; and
  • Potential new revenue streams (energy sales, emission credits).
