We are incredibly proud to announce the successful completion and start-up of a produced water facility in Oman for our client partner OQEP. Executed at the highest safety and performance standards, the produced water facility was delivered ahead of schedule and with zero lost-time injuries.
This remarkable project is a clear reflection of our team’s commitment to achieving our client partner’s goals while advancing Oman’s energy infrastructure and contributing to the region’s long-term economic and industrial development.
Our work has played a pivotal role in transforming OQEP’s upstream portfolio by significantly enhancing their oil processing capabilities and aligning with their vision for sustainable energy.

Package Highlights:
- OQEP awarded the contract in January 2024 as a BOOM model with a four-year term
- From breaking ground to start-up, this project was completed in less than 18 months & days ahead of our committed contractual schedule
- Over 3 million man-hours were completed without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) – with the site workforce reaching more than 1,200 personnel at its peak and over 2 million kilometers were driven without a Motor Vehicle Incident (MVIR)
- The project supports Oman’s In-Country Value (ICV) program by employing local talent, sourcing domestically produced goods, and partnering with local suppliers
- The produced water tank is the largest in Block-60 Oman with a capacity of 27,784 m3 (~174,700 bbl)
- The gross inlet separator is also the largest in Block-60 in Oman, measuring 27.5 meters in length, 4.6 meters in diameter, and weighing 145 metric tons
- The facility includes four of the largest water injection pumps, each capable of delivering 1,130 m³/hr at 90 barg, consuming 4 MW of power
- This project incorporated innovative construction techniques:
- Pre-cast rapid wall technology enabled the completion of key structural elements in just 25 days, as opposed to the 60 days required by conventional methods
